The Myth - For Charging You More
Some businesses will tell you that when you terminate your mail box rental they have to forward your mail to you for several months. This is not true. But this is the reason they will give so that they can charge you an extra upfront deposit or more per month on your rental. Also you will pay not just postage to have your mail forwarded, which can be higher than the regular postage rate, but also a handling fee. This can add up fast. Plus if the deposit or additional rental fee is not enough to cover these costs they will hold your mail until you come up with more money.
Solution - It's your choice
We offer you a choice. Simply rent the mail box a couple extra months until you start receiving all your mail at your new address. This is a lot less expensive than paying someone to forward your mail. However if you prefer to have your mail forwarded after you terminate your mail box rental we have a program that allows you to do this.
